Frequently asked questions
Is Vytalma free for patients?
Yes. Search, booking, the health record and secure sharing are free. Consultations are paid to the practitioner at their rates.
How do I book an appointment?
Search for a practitioner, choose a free slot on their page, then confirm. Only “Vytalma validated” profiles offer online booking; for others, the practice phone number is shown.
Is my health data protected?
It is encrypted and accessible only to you. A doctor can access it only during a sharing session you authorise with a code, for 1 hour maximum. Vytalma complies with law 09-08 and uses no advertising trackers.
Can I buy medicines on Vytalma?
No. In accordance with law 17-04, no medicine is sold online. Vytalma shows where a medicine is available; the Store only offers parapharmacy products.
What does “Vytalma validated” mean?
The Vytalma team has verified the identity and practice of the professional or facility. Only these profiles offer online services (appointments, teleconsultation, prescriptions).
How does NFC / QR sharing work?
The doctor scans your NFC card or QR code, you confirm with a code sent to your phone, and access opens for 1 hour maximum. You can revoke it at any time.
Does Vytalma replace a consultation or emergency services?
No. Vytalma gives no medical advice. In an emergency, call 141 (SAMU) or 15 (civil protection).
